International mobility aims to foster students' personal and academic growth through study experiences at partner universities, enriching their educational path and developing intercultural skills.
The School of Design at Politecnico di Milano collaborates with over 200 universities and design schools worldwide, offering students the opportunity to participate in numerous exchange and international mobility programs both within and outside Europe.
Opportunities include:
- Study Mobility Programs within or outside the EU
- Double Degree Programs with selected international institutions
- Special programs such as MEDes, ENHANCE, FIT, and others
To participate in these programs, students must apply through the calls for International Mobility, published around mid-semester on the Politecnico di Milano website.

- Short exchanges such as Athens and IDEA League
- International Internships supported by the Career Service
- Thesis Abroad: opportunities to develop a thesis abroad
- International workshops organized throughout the year with partner institutions (published on the Passion in Action page)
