Students are required to carefully plan their exchange experience, understanding that there are administrative procedures that cannot be bypassed.

The processing of these phases takes several months of work. The process involves multiple actors (administrative staff, professors, and researchers) who are also engaged in numerous other institutional activities and often have very busy schedules. For this reason, students must avoid last-minute requests and should not expect to resolve complex issues in just a few minutes.

The indicative timeline for the International Mobility process is approximately as follows:

  • November–January: Publication of the 1st call
  • January–March: Ranking of eligible students
  • March–April: Publication of the 2nd call (only for departures in the 2nd semester)
  • May: Ranking of eligible students

For students departing in the 1st semester:

  • March–May: Nomination and application to the host institution
  • May–September: Formalization and approval of the Online Learning Agreement

For students departing in the 2nd semester:

  • June–October: Nomination and application to the host institution
  • October–December: Formalization and approval of the Online Learning Agreement

Due to the high variability of deadlines at partner institutions and the wide range of requirements and documents needed for each destination, students are advised to refer to the deadlines of the specific call they intend to apply for, and after selection, to the deadlines of the host institution where they have been placed.

The call for Double Degree exchanges coincides with the 1st call for standard mobility. Please refer to the call regulations for details and timelines.
