Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB) will host the 2024 U7+ Student Challenge in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire on May 15-17, 2024.
U7+ universities are invited to nominate student teams to apply to the challenge. Teams should be made up of three students (at any level—undergraduate, graduate, or professional) plus one faculty member or staff leader. Participants in the challenge will pitch an interdisciplinary project that tackles a local issue linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
Teams may submit proposals addressing either of the challenge themes:
- Inclusive Education for Inclusive Societies
- Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence
As hosts, INP-HB will cover the following in-country costs:
- Ground transportation, including roundtrip transportation from the airport to campus
- Three nights of accommodation
- Meals
- A cultural activity
- Workshops for each team
