In these dark times of war, we are launching a series of new initiatives to help us understand and eventually act, designerly and humanly.
Design Against War - DAW is a project of the Polimi Design System and partners to think and design against the war. Communicated through an Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/designagainstwar/) it is always open to design proposals and initiatives.
DAW will host a talk of Prof. Raul Caruso, full professor in Economic Policy at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, titled “Imagining peace in times of war”.

The talk will outline key elements essential for building peace, in the future, with a specific focus on the economic aspects. Specifically, an economic system with the goal of building peace should address: (i) regulation of the arms market; (ii) limitation of shocks resulting from exogenous factors such as climate change; (iii) reorganization of international institutions.
