We kindly invite you to participate in a survey concerning the use of generative AI in education and design practice. The purpose of this study is to better understand how students are engaging with these emerging technologies and to explore how they may be most effectively integrated into our programmes.

This survey is being conducted jointly by the Schools of Design at TU Delft and Aalto University. By comparing results across institutions, we aim to gain important insights into how design students are adopting and experiencing AI in their studies and creative processes. Given the rapid adoption of these technologies and the challenges they pose for higher education, your perspective is of particular importance.

• The survey takes 15 mns to complete and has 35 questions. It is completely anonymous.

We would be most grateful if you could complete the survey as soon as possible, by October 15, 2025. Your input will play an essential role in helping us prepare students for the transformations currently shaping the design profession.
