The call is aimed at finding startups and research projects dedicated to the diffusion of innovation in the field of AI for the public sector.

Eligible applications should explain the use of AI in their provision of a solution for public services and public bodies, and could fall into one or more of the following areas of innovation:

• Environment: Energy, Waste, Water, Circular economy
• Smart cities: Transportation, Urban planning, Housing, Telecommunications
• Society: Leisure, Culture, Education
• Security: Health, Safety
• Public management: e-taxation, e-governance

The finalist projects will be invited to participate at the Pitch Day in Milan taking place on April 30th.

Awards available: two grants – 8.000 € and 5.000 € - for startups, free coaching for two research pojects and 1 or 2 free participations to the next edition of the AI4GOV Master course.

Applications will be opened until April 10th.
